WINCHESTER Mod 12, **28ga**. The rarest of all Winchester Model 12's ever made so please take note I have hopefully addressed most if not all factory original indicators in the photos of the gun. If you have an area I havent addressed please just ask. 26" SKEET, SN# 15208xx indicates 1955, satisfy to your confidence, Barrel stampings appear all correct and shown in photos incl correct PROOF adjacent to "wavey file pattern" rib, SKEET barrel stamp, Winchester flat head screws holding correct Red Pad, Correct "28ga" stamp at back of the receiver- appears original from all original tooling & casting marks that surround (all shown in photos) Correct crimped magazine tube that I read is spoecific to the 28ga. Correct beveled bolt face top (shown). Correct "28ga" stamp on shell stop inside loading gate (shown) locks up tight, virtually no bolt jump. Has 20 stamped barrel band which numerous forums indicate is not uncommon. Mirror clean bore. Blueing excellent for age, genuine wear, factory stampings still 'edgey', wood still proud of action, checkering correct and sharp for wear and age- what I'm getting at is I see no signs of ever having had work or refinish done. VERY seldom do these come around and/or shown properly. I've never seen or had one in this kind of condition. They did not keep records on the Mod 12's so there are no Cody letters for such. Im not guaranteeing this gun or any other but I've done my utmnost to verify this gun through the books and forums that collectors talk on. RETURNS: Please inspect your new gun immediately upon arrival when you are at the receiving dealer. If there is a problem with the gun when you receive it at your dealer such as any damage, mistake in the order, anything like that call me and I’ll handle its return immediately. If an issue is found contact me before the transfer takes place and I will handle it immediately, New Guns do not go out on a 3 day approval, that only applies only to USED guns, as clearly stated. I insure everyone I send a gun to is getting an unhandled new gun and the one they have seen actual photos of so No, you CANNOT return a gun simply because you changed your mind. If I am shipping you a pre-owned gun (used) it goes out on a non firing, non disassembly inspection- if anything is different than the photos or description I ask that you call me immediatly.
