....S O L D !....A good historical article on the Swedish Sniper can be found on Sniper Central entitled "Swedish Mauser M/41 and M/41B". This rifle is a model 41/B which is an improvement over the M/41. The Serial number on the scope mount, the action and the bolt match. Other secondary components do not match. The bore is shiny with strong rifling. In one of the last upgrades, the traditional ladder rear sight was replaced with the more desireable SM m/55 micrometer precision target rear sight which can be seen in the photos. Included in the sale are ring shims that permit the use of a 3/4 inch tube scope. The Swedes were ahead of their time when they developed the 6.5X55 cartridge. As noted in the Sniper Central article, the popular 6.5 Creedmoor is a modern rendition of the 6.5 Swede.
