This is one of the rarest .25 acp German pistols - a Helfricht pistol made in the interwar period, in 1920s. A very interesting design with slide and breechblock made from one piece of steel, it was never duplicated in any other designs, with only about 3000 guns made. This is a rare 2nd variation, sn 1047(numbered only on the side of the breechblock), with only 3 other 2nd variation guns reported. It is all original and retains about 90% of the original blue with some thinning on the slide. No pitting or rust. Excellent bore and grips. The gun itself is tiny - smaller than a Browning pocket pistol. A one of a kind example of an early German .25 semi-auto that can be a centerpiece of a pocket pistol collection.
3-day inspection.
