Colt First Model Deringer, mfg. c. 1880, single shot .41 RF cal, 2.5" round barrel with release button at right, top of barrel marked on two lines "Colt's PTFA Mfg. Co. Hartford, Ct. U.S.A., No. 1". Light scrolled engraving at frame, caliber listed below barrel release button. Serial number matched at barrel and butt. Action works correctly. Bore is bright with good rifling. Finish believed to be nickel, estimated 90% with some loss. Serial #3102.
