National Postal Meter rifles are considered more collectible than some of the other manufacturer‚‚s carbines because... A - The company originally made postal meters and was pulled into war production so how cool is that. N.P.M only produced about 417,000 rifles as opposed to over the 2.6 million rifles produced by Inland making them considerably rarer. As a side note - Performance testing during the war by gov‚‚t weapons evaluators gave the National Postal Meter carbines the highest rating in adverse conditions. C & R Eligible
