Savage model 99F rifle in 308 Winchester. This well cared for and accurate hunting rifle has been my gun for over 50 years and has been responsible for many deer and antelope and a decent Alaskan moose.
Original condition except perhaps the recoil pad. The bore is clean and bright, the barrel blue is 90%+ bright shiny blue, the receiver shows carry wear but is smooth and clean, ~50%. the lever shows about 50% case color. Brass magazine follower and safety on the lever. The wood finish is original with some hunting scrapes and scratches, all minor, no cracks or serious gouges. The original checkering is sharp. Equipped with a nice 4x Redfield traditional scope and folding rear iron sight.
I hate to admit that I'm too old to continue big game hunting but that's the way it is, so I'm selling this fine old gun, hopefully to someone who will continue using it in the field.
