A superb Japanese Tanegashima Matchlock Rifle, approx. 53 caliber, totally original with original finish, etc. Ramrod is missing. Please study the photos carefully. This is the most elaborate one of these we have had the pleasure to own - a fantastic piece probably almost 300 years old and in totally original condition including the original wood finish, etc. Action functions exactly as it should. In as found untouched condition and probably belongs in a museum.
