Description:
In 1936 Remington introduced the Model 81 Woodsmaster in several grades of finish. This Standard Woodsmaster was manufactured in 1946. Production of the 81 ended in 1950. .300 Savage

Chambers: .300 Savage in a five round fixed box magazine. Can utilize stripper clips
Metal Condition: Showing moderate use with blue wear at the carry points and rifle case use. There are several holes from alternate scope mounts and the existing mount screws are peened in place.
Wood Condition: Good condition with a probable chip repair at the wrist right side sanded. A few field marks appear on the butt stock and fore end
Bore Condition: Bright and sharp
Barrels: 23" Jacketed long recoil

Fore End: Plain semi-beavertail with take-down feature
Butt Pad: Pachmayr vented rubber (vintage)
