Description:
Have about 75 or 80 rounds of this ammo.  One box is or appears unopened but the side split and the other box was taped shut.  Opened for the pictures.

Found this on the internet to describe the rounds.......................................

Dynamit Nobel AG of Germany, 7.62 NATO caliber, blue plastic, short range training round, brass case head, nickel primer, green primer sealant, ring crimp.  Headstamp "DAG 7.62x51"  Specifically, illustrated item is for the British L1A1 rifle and designated L14A1 for UK MoD service.  From 50 round, tan cardboard box, with white label and black ink markings "50 Round, 7.62mm  Training, Short Range, L14A1  For use in rifle 7.62mm L1A1  Lot No. 01 DAG-09-85  TI 1305-12-148-7829"

"Round 7.62mm Training, Short Range L14A1" was approved for service in 1973 to Dynamit Nobel design 959/682/42/E and given British drawing reference QV51GF.

It should be pointed out that there is also a 7.62mm blank with the L14A1 title but this is not an error. Because the blank does not have a bullet it is "Cartridge 7.62mm Blank L14A1" whilst the short range round does have a bullet and is therefore "Round  7.62mm...L14A1"

The round consists of a polythene moulded case and bullet with an aluminium head pressed into the base of the case. The bullet is solid with a fracture join between the case neck and the bullet which breaks when the round is fired.

The bullet weighs 0.71g (11 grains) and the propellant weighs 0.68g (10.5 grains) to give a velocity of 1100 metres per second (3608 fps).

End of what we found on the internet describing the rounds..................

There will be countless more items listed as time permits.  We figure it will take about 5 to 7 years to post the all 5 of the entire stores to sell for the of the estate.  This is NOT a liquidation, just selling for each estate.   There are no lists and will be no list.   Way too much to even try.

Please check our other listings for more items as we sort through for the estate
