Consigned this virtually unfired Browning Superposed time capsule two-barrel set with Browning Historical letter. Engraved by R Dewil the factory two-barrel Diana grade Lightning, is one of John Browning crowning achievements. According to the Browning letter the gun was shipped October 7, 1966, to Mr. Jack Krey of St Louis MO. The records indicate the stock is a trap style with Browning marked Whiteline trap style pad. It is a flat knob/grip with long tang trigger guard. Length of Pull is listed as “extra length”. The first set of barrels is 12-gauge 30 inch choked Improved Modified and Full with a trap style semi-beavertail fore-end and ventilated rib. The second set of barrels is 12 gauge 26 ½” choked Imp Cyl and Modified also with a trap style semi-beavertail fore-end and ventilated rib. This gun is a time capsule and in virtually 100% mint condition. There is the faintest of marks on the bottom barrel typical of all Belgian Browning Superposed shotguns. The gun includes its original two barrel Browning hardcase.
