Description:
Colt SAA single action US inspected Indian Wars period cavalry gun inspected by DFC.
Made in 1880.
A well used " been there" example of a soldiers gun. All serial numbers match including the barrel. The cylinder is well worn from use but the P inspector mark is visible, the last four of serial number is worn but there but the DFC on the cylinder is the most worn and difficult to see. The action is tight with all four clicks. The cylinder bushing is beat up but the action works great as it sits. The grips are old but no original cartouche is there.
A good example of an Indian War soldier's gun.
