NEW PRICE! Mint condition French MAS 49/56 semi-automatic battle rifle. Produced at the Manufacture d'Armes de St-Etienne (MAS), the MAS Mdle 49/56, was the main battle rifle for France until 1979. Only about 275K of these rifles were produced between 1957-78. This particular example was manufactured in 1963 and remains in the original (and proper) 7.5 French caliber and fuctions flawlessly and has nice bore. The weapon includes grenade launcher and sight, iron sights that are adjustable from 200-1,200 meters, one ten-round detachable magazine, original sling and buttpad. This rifle is non-matching. The MAS 49/56 was used in conflicts in Indo-China, Algeria and other parts of Africa, Syria and the Middle East, and Viet Nam. Please look at pictures to see the near perfect condition of this rifle. This is an opportunity to acquire an increasingly appreciated semi-automatic military rifle whose rarity and value are increasing rarpidly.
