SMITH & WESSON NO.3 AMERICAN 2ND MODEL REVOLVER. SER# 9825, MADE 1872-1874. CALIBER 44 S&W . MATCHING NUMBERS ON THE FRAME , CYLIDER AND BARREL . 6 INCH BARREL . VERY NICE SOLID VINTAGE GRIPS. THERE ARE NO S&W MARKINGS ON THE TOP OF THE BARREL . IT HAS BEEN BUFFED. CYLINDER CYCLES FINE BUT DOES NOT HAVE GOOD LOCKUP . BARREL HAS WIGGLE AT THE HINGE. TOO LOOSE TO SHOOT BEING SOLD AS COLLECTOR PIECE OR PARTS GUN. THIS GUN IS BEING SOLD AS IS . THE GRIPS ARE THE BEST PART OF THE GUN.
