Here is an honest and original Ithaca Model 37 12 gauge. Manufactured in 1949, this 37 features a 28" barrel (numbered to the receiver), fixed Modified choke, bottom ejection, checkered walnut stock, corn-cob forend, and factory game engraved receiver. This shotgun retains a vast amount of its original blue finish and does show signs of various scattered handling marks and slight discoloration. Both the stock and forend are in great overall condition and show no signs of cracks, chips, or repairs. Both the stock and forend do show various scattered handling marks/dings and light finish chipping. All the factory markings are still more than visible including the engraved game scenes on both sides of the receiver. The bore is bright with no signs of pitting and the action functions flawlessly. This Model 37 would make an outstanding field gun or a nice addition to any collection.
