PARTICULARLY FINE CONDITION 1892 OCTAGON RIFLE IN .32-20 CALIBER, #869XXX, MADE 1919. For some reason, it has lately become difficult to find octagon .32-20 rifles in decent condition. This is a fine one. The barrel and mag tube retain about all the original deep blue with light edge wear only, The receiver also retains excellent blue with some normal handling wear mainly being some mixing brown on the bottom by the serial number, on the bolt and upper tang. It has the standard flat top buckhorn rear sight with elevator bar intact and small blade front sight. Screw heads are excellent, stock and forend are also generally excellent showing light handling only with tight wood to metal fit. The action is tight and the excellent bore is bright and sharp. One of the best of these I've had in a while.
