***SOLD, pending pmt.*** Extremely RARE Pre War Model 70 Super Grade in 7 M/M Mauser (7x57). S/N 30*** with matching bolt made in 1940. This rifle has seen some careful use over those many years, and remains in very good-excellent condition showing an average of 95% finishes and 100% correct Pre War components throughout. Bore and mechanical functions are excellent. Rear receiver bridge remains undrilled! The small details such as concave shouldered Pre War swivels, correct vintage and height Redfield front sight, correctly stamped SG floorplate, "3" stamp on magazine follower spring, etc. are all present and correct. Among the very rarest of all cataloged calibers, the highly coveted 7 M/M chambering represents only 1/4 of 1 percent of total Model 70 Production. When you factor in the Super Grade configuration of this rifle, and on top of that its added Pre War Super Grade status, you have a truly special and very fairly priced example of an exceedingly rare rifle!
