Description:

Lefever EE Grade 12 Gauge from 1901, SN-37,XXX, with 30" M/M Fine Damascus Steel ejector barrels with raised file cut rib and small silver front bead. Bores are shiny with very slight frosting but no deep pits measuring .752 right and .742 left. Choked .020 right and .025 left. Minimum wall thickness of .040 right and .046 left. Chambers are 2 3/4"  The end of the right barrel is slightly out of round. Receiver and trigger guard have turned silver but engraving remains crisp and sharp with an English Setter on the left and a Pointer  on the right. Dog with bird on trigger guard. Buttstock and forend of nice European Walnut with fiddleback figure and original grip cap and buttplate. Both buttstock and forend are completely solid without cracks or repairs. LOP is 13 7/8"  DAC-1 1/2"  DAH-2 5/16"   Weight 7lb 12oz
This is an original and unmolested Lefever having only the bores polished. Wall thickness remains quite hefty. It has surprisingly modern stock dimensions. It is tight and on face. Ejectors are strong and timed. It is an ideal candidate for restoration and will make a fine vintager to use in the field. These guns in this condition come along rarely.
