Description:
The Old West was nothing if it wasn't a generator for new guns. This Smith & Wesson features chambering in .44 Russian and is quite modern in its lines. It is one of the first revolvers to offer ejection of the spent cartridges. Depressing the little lever forward of the trigger guard over-rides this feature so that you don't scatter cartridges all over the ground. It has a round butt for coat pocket carry, very similar to modern pocket revolvers. It is in good condition with a nice even patina and just a few pits. .44 Russian

Metal Condition: "Good. Most of the finish has gone to grey patina, but there is a little blue left in the hidden corners. There are a few pits but not very many.
Wood Condition: Good. No special defects but many hands have smoothed this one.
Bore Condition: "Okay. There are some pits, typical of black powder guns, but the rifling is good.
Barrels: 6-1/2 inch

Butt Pad: "Smooth walnut grips, round butt pattern.
