Description:
For sale is a Collector's Quality Winchester Model 1890 in 22 short. Barrel and magazine tube retain 95% plus original blue. Receiver retains 90% blue. All screws sharp and crisp. Rifle has 24" octagon barrel with mint bore. Butt plate is crescent style. Action is tight . Wood is in excellent condition with all original finish. Sights are original. Serial number is 624,891 and was made in 1912. Please feel free to ask any questions or for additional pictures. NOTE: Rifle has had a "Long Rifle" carrier installed so it now will cycle "Long Rifle " cartridges when loaded in magazine tube. Shorts and Long will not cycle from magazine tube but can be fed maually one at a time. Rifle shoots well.
