Description:
This Smith and Wesson Number 1 is a real gem. It has a bright shinny bore in the 3 inch round barrel with a rib. The blue finish is about 75% with some loss on the barrel and backstrap. The Rosewood grips are in very good condition and retain almost all of the original piano finish. Please use the ZOOM feature to make your evaluation of this fine peice. This model was made between 1868 and 1879. A total of 128,528 were made and I would venture to sat that very few have survived in this condition. This will make a valued addition to any collection.
