Colt 1911A1 SN# 792595 Shipped June 30th 1942 Commanding Officer Springfield Armory. Original Type I Light Gray Colt Parkerized Finish Remains Heavy Throughout the Pistol and Rates at 97%+. Black-Grey Colt Small Parts, Original Large G Colt Barrel with Matching Wear Patterns and Clean Sharp Bore. Small Ring Hollow Back Grips with Mold Numbers. This is a very clean and stunning example of a early war WB proofed pistol. Very rare to find them in this condition. Wear patterns are light but match Throughout. Slide number matches the frame. This pistol has the unique early war look that colt was producing in Early 42 and is exactly what would have been shipped to the sailors and marines in the Pacific. Comes with a rare Joseph Mosser
