Description:
One of only a handful I have ever seen, here is an ultra scarce STAINLESS STEEL barreled 300 H&H. Very few ever made. S/N 320*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1954. 98% Blue throughout, other than a scuff on top of the front sight hood. The wood is beautiful, but does show some moderate handling marks above the wrist, probably from a gun boot or scabbord, at the heel, and a thin gouge at the tail end of left forearm checkering panel.
The 26" barrel has an excellent bore and the mechanical functions are flawless. A special rifle that could benefit from some expert wood touch up, but I will leave that judgment to the new owner.
