Description:
Fantastic Beretta S04 proofed in 1970 and made with 30" Boheler Steel barrels, slim 1 piece forend. Fully engraved hand detachable locks are engraved in a beautiful floral pattern. Action is engraved en-suite with top lever and trigger guard in the same pattern with a fine blued finish on them. The buttstock is a full pistol grip with exhibition quality European Walnut and terminates with a black Decelerator pad. The steel grip cap is nicely scroll engraved with initials "JJ" engraved as seen in the photos. The gun has a full set of Briley choke tubes and is housed in Beretta brand hard case.
Overall, the gun remains in excellent condition. The barrels retain more than 98% original blue. Action retains virtually all of its original coin finish. Stocks are sound and near mint with nearly all of their original hand rubbed finish. Mechanics are crisp and the bores are brilliant and shiny. The case is excellent with only minor rubs and impressions.
