Description:
Oberndorf Mauser Type B 7x57 manufactured in 1924 with a 24" barrel with a banded ramp front sight, banded sling swivel, and banded island rear site with one standing and two folding leaves. Bore is excellent. Mauser round top intermediate action never drilled and tapped. Double set triggers and lever release floorplate. All numbers match including all small parts. Pistol grip buttstock with factory buttplate and steel pistol grip cap remains solid in every respect with no cracks or repairs. LOP - 14 1/8" Weight - 7lb 4oz
This is an extremely nice and all factory original Mauser sporting rifle from 1924. These are progressively harder to find. In my opinion, and that of many others, the finest factory sporting rifle ever produced. A great addition to any Mauser collection.
