Description:
In the early 1960s the .41 Remington Magnum cartridge was developed as a police round. The idea was to have round that didn't have the draw backs of the .357 which tended to over penetrate and not have the recoil of the more powerful .44 Remington Magnum cartridge. Through the years the .41 Magnum has developed a cult like following. Smith & Wesson introduced the Model 57 and the combat purposed model 58 in 1964. The stainless steel Model 657 was introduced 1986. This Smith & Wesson Model 657-1 (manufactured 1989) looks to have been a in holster a few times and is in overall very good condition. .41 Remington Magnum
