24" tapered round barrel with full-band detented-hooded front sight, full-band sling swivel base, hand-crosshatch-matted quarter rib with 1 standing and 3 folding gold-lined express sights engraved for 100, 200, 300 & 400 yards.
Fully figured oil-finished Circassian walnut stock by James Tucker with ebony forend tip, classic point-pattern checkering, engraved recoil crossbolt, steel trapdoor pistol grip cap, beaded pancake cheekpiece, maker's leather sling on refined SuperGrade swivels, and dark brown pigskin-covered recoil pad.
Original Mauser commercial squarebridge action with Crown/B Crown/U Crown/G proofs, straight-down bolt handle with 3-panel checkered knob with rosette, Canjar trigger with checkered lever, both original Mauser wing and custom sliding top safety on extended tang with SAFE and FIRE inlaid in gold, and hinged floorplate with release inside triggerguard. All Mauser numbers matching.
Zeiss Diavari-C 1.5-4.5 x 18 scope with duplex reticle on custom claw mounts---the front fitted directly to the quarter rib; the rear to the original squarebridge, Mauser Type-A sporter style---both without separate bases.
Fine foliate scroll engraving on pistol grip cap and bottom metal and with high-relief gold moose head on floorplate by Robert Swartley. Metalwork by Steve Heilmann. Bluing by Tony Fleming.
