Payment Types Accepted: Cash, Check, USPS Money Order Description: Smith & Wesson Model 500, satin stainless-steel, double-action, .50 Magnum revolver, with 6½-inch, half-lug barrel with Power Port; fluted cylinder; original S&W black rubber grips; target trigger (0.400-inch wide) with smooth face; target hammer (0.500-inch wide spur) with checkered spur; open adjustable rear sight; and fix front sight blade with red inset, and an integral internal locking system with two keys. The overall length of the gun is 13 inches; overall height is 6½ inches; its unloaded weight is 3 pounds, 12.2 ounces. Accessories include the original S&W blue plastic box, the original papers (including the Safety and Instruction Manual), cable lock with two keys, and the original registration card (blank). Also included are three 50-round boxes of ammunition – one 50-round box Hornady 500 S&W 300 grain FTX cartridges and two 50-round boxes Federal 500 S&W 325 grain Fusion cartridges. The overall condition of this gun is 100 percent. I hesitate to call any gun 100 percent that is not new-in-the-box, but with only three rounds fire through it, this gun is certainly an exception. The gun is practically perfect. The usual cylinder-lock ring is very light. The rubber grips have no mars or other blemishes. The rubber is supple with no hardening, cracks, or discoloration. According to the original owner who was on in age, said he bought the gun, fired it three times and decided it was too much for him. This is evidenced by the light cylinder lock ring and only a trace amount of carbon around the front of three of the chambers. See the photos of the cylinder ring and the front of the cylinder. The photos are high resolution, so zoom to see details. Contact me for additional photos of any area you would like to see or see better. The buyer pays USPS Priority mail ($30) and insurance ($24.30). The fastest way to get this gun is to pay with USPS (U.S. Postal Service) money order, as they are like cash. I will ship the pistol immediately upon receipt of a USPS money order and an FFL. I will also accept a personal check and other types of money orders, as well as bank checks and cashier's checks, but I will hold the gun until it clears my bank; this includes bank checks and cashier’s checks. I do not accept credit cards, debit cards, or PayPal. Check or money order must be made out to Jerry Pownall (not Barboursville Arms). If you wish to contact me, please "Email Seller". I will answer your questions, explain the purchase / transfer process, and provide my mailing address. I am available any time, except Friday evenings and Saturdays. I will return emails Saturday evening. SOLD |
