Here we have a nice lightly used Uberti 1873 Cattleman Single Action revolver chambered in .45 Colt caliber. In 1873, Colt’s single-action Army (SAA) revolver became the Army’s standard sidearm. Cavalry troopers were armed with the new revolvers. Lawmen and outlaws alike were quick to adopt the handy new 6-shooter which earned the nickname “Peacemaker.” Uberti makes an accurate reproduction of the Colt Single Action Army and they have earned the reputation of being solid performers. This particular example has a brass frame and trigger guard while the receiver is case color hardened steel. The 5 1/2 inch barrel has a bright bore and strong rifling. The gun has a little surface wear, light turn rings, and the left grip panel has a small dink at the back. Overall this quality revolver is in very good condition and would make a great addition to a collection of single actions or an excellent user for cowboy action shooting.
