Description:
This fine Savage 99F Featherweight A Series is a hunting rifle chambered in the very popular 308 Winchester caliber. The A Series is the newer Model F with the tang safety, this is my favorite, over the older type safety on the lever. The wood figure is really nice with checkering. There is one small crack behind the tang, hard to notice. The blueing is good with some small hunting rubs. The bore is perfect and shiny. The rifle came from the factory in 1971, rear and front sight are correct. This is a classic hunting rifle in a great all purpose caliber. Shipping and insurance is $50.00 and C and R is good. Please check with your FFL and make sure that he accepts a rifle from a non FFL with proper ID otherwise I have to charge $25.00 to go through my FFL.
