"Made circa 1790. 60 caliber with a 11.5" barrel. Very interesting set! Barrels have an acid etched textured barrels. Stocks are carved and have silver wire inlay. Stocks are attached on each gun with a screw through the stock. Action works well. Lock is inscribed “Gosiun / Liege" Jean Gosuin (1745-1808) was a very influential gunmaker and entrepreneur in Liege holding top posts at various arsenal and gun making firms including head of the Manufacture Imperiale de Liege, fulfilling extensive contracts with the French Empire.
