On Hold Sale Pending Circa 1850 percussion Kentucky or Pennsylvania 45 caliber rifle. The dark walnut half stock seems solid but has numerous cracks and repairs (see photos) and a German silver nose cap. The 34 inch octagon barrel has both front and rear sights and a good rifled bore. The total rifle length is approximately 51 inches. The set triggers function but need adjustments as you have to pull the triggers twice to trip the hammer? All metal parts are iron with a brown patina, a wooden ramrod is present. The only markings are DEW R2 stamped on the barrel near the breach. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
