SALE PENDING. Rare Ithaca Flues 6 Flues 12 gauge pigeon gun. This is a true live pigeon gun with 32" barrels and no safety. Factory special engraving, notice the cameo of the pigeon on the floor plate and the gold moose on the trigger guard. Krupp fluid steel barrels that have mirror bores. Right barrel measures .730 with 38/1000 choke (full) while the left is .731 with 39/1000 (full). Chambers are 3". Gun has extractors as was common with serious live pigeon guns. The straight grip stock has an elegant fleur de lis checkering pattern and compact beavertail forend. Stock dimensions are exceptional with: LOP at 15", drop at comb - 1 5/16" and drop at heel - 1 9/16". Presentation basketweave recoil pad. Tight on face with top lever well right of center. No loose ribs. No cracks to the wood. Weight of the gun is 8 LBS 11 5/8 OZ. Based on the serial number the gun was produced in 1909. Shipping is $100.
