RARE 1937 Military produced 1911A1. Serial # 711947. Only 2349 produced in 1937. These guns are the top of the food chain along with the 1938's of the blued pre-war COLT 1911A1's. Probably only 10-15% (as we estimate on military used guns) survive. Many are unfortunately at the bottom of the Pacific. This pistol has had a professional restoration finish on frame and slide. Of the 53 parts making up the 1911A1, I believe the other 51 parts are original finish. Original polishing marks say so. All parts are original 1937 parts. 100% CORRECT. Barrel has a perfect bore and rifling. action is fine. All markings as as they should be.
