Here is a pair of canvas and brass gun cases in which two William Evans 20 bore guns with 28" barrels were sent from Holland & Holland to the Maharaja of Jaipur, Sawai Man Singh II, likely for him and his third wife (the Maharani Gayatra Devi). The Maharaja was an avid hunter, sportsman and polo player (he won the 1933 World Cup in polo.)
