SOLD**** SKEET SET O/U SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 Ga., 2 3/4". S# 23202S4. Bbls. 28" VR w/ fixed Skeet & Skeet chokes. Ivory front & mid beads. Coin finished boxlock action w/ full coverage Pointer grade engraving signed by Belgium Master Engraver A. Marechal. Engraving consists of vignettes w/ setter retrieving a duck on left, pointer w/ pheasant on right, partridge on floorplate & pheasants on trigger guard bow. Scenes are surrounded by full coverage arabesque scroll & fancy beaded borders. Original Lightning forearm of gloss finished walnut having wrap around hand checkering. Professionally repared small cruck on the left side near action. Browning replacement rnd. knob long tang stock of gloss finished fancy walnut w/ hand checkering having tight fiddle figured grain & vivid color contrasts. LOP: 14 1/4" over Browning buttplate. DAC: 1 5/8". DAH: 2 5/8". WEIGHT: 8 lbs. 1964 Belgium mfg. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Purbaugh sub gauge 20, 28 & 410 Skeet tube set. Tubes are stored in black Naugahyde case w/ extractors & tools. Gun is stored in a Browning Hartmann takedown luggage case containing black envelope w/ instructions & wide trigger shoe.
CONDITION: over 95% original bbl. blue. Action has lightly worn coin finish. Forearm has worn checkering w/ good finish. Stock shows scattered light scratches & compression marks. Excellent bores.
