Description:
For sale is a Winchester Model 1892 in caliber 38-40. This is a collector quality rifle in original condition. It has a 24" round barrel and crescent butt. Barrel and magazine tube retain 95% original blue. Receiver retains 95% blue with wear at bottom where carried ( see pictures).There are some small nicks on right side of barrel behind magazine tube retainer as highlighted in photos. Screws are perfect . Lever shows excellent color case hardening. Bore is bright with sharp lands and no pitting. Wood is excellent with nice grain and has original finish with some wear under forearm and above lever where carried. Rifle comes with Cody letter SOLD
