Here we have a classic Bernardelli Vincenzo 16 gauge side-by-side shotgun with double hammers. Bernardelli is a fine Italian maker highly regarded by the sporting shotgun community. This gun has beautifully figured walnut stock and splinter forend and the barrels have deep rich bluing. The barrel is very clean and is in excellent condition and is choked modified/improved modified. The receiver is nicely case hardened and tastefully engraved. The receiver has some unique features like side clips and a Greener style cross bolt. There are a total of four fasteners between the action and the barrel making this an incredibly strong action. The gun is in excellent overall condition with only light handling marks and a little high edge wear at the end of the barrel from being slid into a case. Weighing in at a svelte 6lb 4.2oz this nimble little gun could be carried all day without wearing you out. This gun would make an excellent woodcock or quail gun. This gun would make a quality addition to a new or existing collection.
