Remington ( and how we miss them ) did a fantastic job in their custom shop on these rifles, great workmanship.
Beautiful walnut hand rubbed finish, fantastic checkering, nice satin finish, superb bluing and more.Please see the pictures.
I bought one of these Remington 8mm mag rifles when they first were introduced back in 1977 and have hunted elk with it on many occasions.Personnaly I don't believe that there is a better Elk rifle then a 8mm Remington magnum.
I purchased this rifle from the Remington Custom shop back in the late eighties and have not fired it, yes still in the original box.
I have not seen another one, but who knows.
