Description:
The M1917 Revolvers is a six-shot large frame revolvers chambered in .45 ACP. It was was developed to supplement the standard M1911 pistol during World War I. It uses a moon-clip to hold the cartridges in position, facilitate reloading, and to aid in extraction since the .45 ACP is a rimless cartridge. A rimmed cartridge, the .45 Auto Rim is an alternative cartridge that iliminates the need for a moon-clip. The 1917 has a 5 1/2" Barrel, factory wood grips, and a lanyard loop. .45 ACP
