Description:
This is a solid model 94 winchester it was manufactured in 1951. the butt plate is missing and the rear sight has been removed and a blank installed in the dovetail. it looks like it had a peep installed that has also been removed. all that being said. it has a excellent mirror bore with sharp rifling and a smooth action. It shows honest wear from usage over the years. THe stock is solid with no cracking, the stock finish shows no signs of flaking. With a little bit of TLC this can make a good representation of a pre 64 model 30-30 at a reasonable price. Try ro find a functional pre 64 for under 600.00 now a days with shipping included.
