New Haven Arms Navy Pistol. .41 CAL. Serial #2217. Manufactured in 1859, FACTORY ENGRAVED. RARER 6" Barrel. Estimated 300 produced. Very fine to excellent condition. 30-40% original blue. Cartridge follower has original fire blue remaining. Brass is simply GORGEOUS! Originally silver plated with just traces remaining. Even with fine condition guns the thin silver plate wore off soon. Action is fine, bore has great rifling and is somewhat shiny but , has been fired. Grips have 98% original varnish. Left grip has had a broken piece reattached with glue only.
