This Arisaka, manufactured by Nagoya, is a "zero series" rifle in that it does not have a "series" marking prior to the serial number. This would make this rifle part of the first 100,000 Type 99 rifles produced by Nagoya. There is no Chrysanthemum found on the receiver; likely due to a very well done ground job. No aircraft sights, dust cover, monopod or cleaning rod.
