A genuine ** KORTH ** WAFFENFABRIK W ("Willie") KORTH 6" .357 & 9mm revolver. No one argues these were the finest made revolvers in the world and NOT to be confused with the trifle that bears the Korth name now. IVE PASTED SOME HISTORY BELOW which if you are looking at this ad you probably know, just dont want any mistaking with the Nighthawk McWick versions. With a 33xxx serial number these were the very last Willie's and featured the slab side and recessed cylinder for speed loaders...I'm going to date this one 1980, please verify to your satisfaction.“WAFFENFABRIK W KORTH” marking clearly shown in photo indicating last of the true Willie Korth revolvers. In remarkable condition with its pamphlets, exploded views, walnut case, it's "all" **AND** with its extra cylinder in 9mm, a rare and expensive option. "Willi Korth’s revolvers were benchmade by five gunsmiths at the rate averaging about 120 pieces a year. Except for their wooden grips and their screws (parts 67, 68, and 69), and two hex socket action screws (parts 18 and 66), outsourced to specialty outside suppliers, every part was made in house. In contrast to the mass production standards, Korth revolver parts were neither cast nor milled. They were ground in the course of hard fitting from steel forgings that boasted a tensile strength of 1,700 psi. Each revolver required 70 man-hours that comprised 600 distinct operations. Their major components were surface hardened up to 60 HRC on the Rockwell hardness scale. The three main variants were the Combat, the Sport, and the Target models, some of which were finished as engraved luxury pieces. Willi Korth turned over his business with all inventory, tools, and drawings to count Nikolas von Bernstorff on 30 June 1981. The company continued as Korth GmbH & Co. KG, its payroll peaking at 30 employees during the following decade. Its initial production comprised the 1982-1983 transitional series 34xxx and 35xxx, still made under their inventor’s personal supervision, but marked as triple spaced “WAFFENFABRIK KORTH” rather than “WAFFENFABRIK W KORTH”. *******THE PISTOL IN THIS AD IS A 33XXX SERIAL WILLIE KORTH*******Following Korth’s resignation due to failing health in 1983, his successors produced the 36xxx, 37xxx, and 38xxx carbon steel series, mostly from the legacy parts fabricated and blanks forged by Willi Korth. Some newly manufactured major components such as barrel shrouds and cylinders were sourced from two subcontractors in Hamburg-Ahrensburg. "

RETURNS: Please inspect your new gun immediately upon arrival when you are at the receiving dealer. If there is a problem with the gun when you receive it at your dealer such as any damage, mistake in the order, anything like that call me and I’ll handle its return immediately. If an issue is found contact me before the transfer takes place and I will handle it immediately, New Guns do not go out on a 3 day approval, that only applies only to USED guns, as clearly stated. I insure everyone I send a gun to is getting an unhandled new gun and the one they have seen actual photos of so No, you CANNOT return a gun simply because you changed your mind. If I am shipping you a pre-owned gun (used) it goes out on a non firing, non disassembly inspection- if anything is different than the photos or description I ask that you call me immediatly.
