Description:
This is a rare left handed version with both left and right hand grips (trigger set is on the right side). This firearm has seen very little use and is in excellent condition. To my knowlege it has likely less than 20 rounds fired from it. There are two issues which surfaced when the pistol was taken to the range for the first time in over 40 years:
1) First, it would not fire. This was subsequently traced to a broken firing pin. A friend who is an amature gunsmith machined a new firing pin and the gun has since been tested with it and works fine. I will provide the original broken firing pin with the purchase.
2) It was found the screw for the right side of the right hand grips was rubbing against the cocking level. So I ground it down a bit. However later when mounting the left hand grips, I found the same screw was now too short. I will endevour to find a similar screw that fits properly for the left hand hand grips.
