Description: This is a Rare1942 6 digit SN Springfield M1 Garand SN 529011. Manufactured March of 1942 this rifle has seen some action. This rifle was armorer inspected on 6/20/22 as fully functional. The metal is in good condition with some pitting close to the stock on the back sides of the receiver. The barrel is marked3-S-A-1-51 the bore is shinny with strong rifling. it has muzzle reading of 3+ and throat reading of 3+. The stock shows plenty of use with dings and dents. It has the numbers 108 stenciled on the underside of the forearm possible a 15 or 16 stenciled on the right side of the buttstock. Only use ammunition intended for use in an M1 Garand some modern ammo exceed pressures designed for this rifle and can damage it. Ask me about our authentic M1 Garand ammo we have in stock.
