Description:
Smith & Wesson Model 60 (no dash), stainless-steel, .38 Special, double-action revolver, with 2-inch barrel; fluted cylinder; wood grips; service trigger (0.265-inch wide) with grooved face; service hammer (0.265-inch-wide) with checkered spur; blade front and fixed rear sights.  The gun has a three-screw configuration, with one screw (#3) under the grip.  The overall length of the gun is 6 1/8 inches, and the overall height is 4¾ inches.  Its unloaded weight is 20.9 ounces.  There are NO box, papers, or other accessories with this revolver.  The year of production was probably 1981.

The overall condition of this gun is 100 percent.  I normally do not call any gun 100 percent that is not new-in-the-box, but this gun has no marks of any kind on the metal (including the muzzle) or wood stocks.  The only exception is the normal cylinder-lock ring, which is very, very light, almost not visible.  The gun is practically perfect.  Given these factors, plus the fact that there is no trace of carbon on or in any chamber, the muzzle, or the barrel, I honestly believe this gun has never been fire.

The photos are high resolution, so zoom to see details.  Contact me for additional photos of any area you would like to see or see better.

The buyer pays USPS Priority mail ($25) and insurance ($13.45).  Insurance is calculated from the USPS - $10.35 for the first $600 of insurance, plus $1.55 for each additional $100 of insurance (rounded up) above the first $600 dollars.

The fastest way to get this gun is to pay with USPS (U.S. Postal Service) money order, as they are like cash.  I will ship the pistol immediately upon receipt of a USPS money order and an FFL.  I will also accept a personal check and other types of money orders, as well as a bank check and a cashier's check, but I will hold the gun until it clears my bank; this includes bank checks and cashier’s checks.  I do not accept credit cards, debit cards, or PayPal.

Check or money order must be made out to Jerry Pownall (not Barboursville Arms).

If you wish to contact me, please "Email Seller".  I will answer your questions, explain the purchase / transfer process, and provide my mailing address.  I am available any time, except Friday evenings and Saturdays.  I will return emails Saturday evening.
