Description:
A genuine 10 Ga. Geo Fisher 1889 Coach Gun / Sawed off shotgun. Used by stagecoach companies, express companies, bank guards, jail and prison guards for the formidable and terrorizing effects that they could bring to bear. What a colorful and dramatic weapon. Notice the wonderful butt plate with the high relief image of (little buck deer). Also notice the expert inlay of metal to wood work. That kind of high quality work was done in the day when the gun makers craft was hands on high artistry. Feel this legendary tool transport you back to when your shotgun was your best line of defense. Features 20", barrels and an overall length of 37". Lock up is tight and secure WITHOUT A HINT of MOVEMENT. The wood generally shows good care. The metal has a nice brown patina that accents the damascus pattern on the barrels. The barrel rib is marked "Laminated steel". The bores show some pits as all blackpowder shotguns of this era, but both actions work perfectly. This is a fun to shoot, we recommend that you use ammo from a re-loader that loads to 19th century specifications. There are no dents in the bores. Just remember to "take lil buck with you" when you need to be prepared
