Colt U.S. Artillery RARE No number on the frame This is a Kopec letter gun Manufactured in Hartford Connecticut in 1879-1880 Brown/Blue/Patina gun, on top of the barrel is a one line Colt address, on the left side of the frame there is a three line patent and (U.S.) there is (A) on the Trigger-Guard serial number (8726) with Type 2 Ejector housing. Comes with one piece wood grips in good condition, mechanically is in good condition with tight cylinder lockup in single-action. Bore is good. Read Kopec Letter.
