Very rare Large San Francisco Hunting knife. 7 1/2" Blade and 13 1/2" overall. Elk Horn Grips in excellent shape. Unmarked but likely made by Herman Schintz or Michael Hayes who worked with Michael Price before going out on his own. Exact same type knife is shown in Bernie Levine's excellent Book "Knife Makers of old San Francisco" note price from his price guide of 1998, most San Francisco knives have tripled in price since then. Very impressive well made knife. Last picture shows it next to the most common seen size for comparison
