Description:
Winchester Pre-64 Model 70 Custom chambered in .338 Winchester Magnum. It has sling swivels studs top and bottom, a rubber recoil pad, and checkered forearm and pistol grip. The stock is in excellent condition with subtle handling marks. The rifle was manufactured in 1960 so the action has true controlled round feeding and ejecting and a 3-position safety. The .338 Winchester Magnum is most commonly used for the hunting of larger deer species such as elk and moose. It is also a popular cartridge for hunting of and defense against grizzly, polar and brown bears. .338 Winchester Magnum
